I own an 11 month old filly she WAS skinny is there a disease that she can get because of the skinny condition

this horse was rescued by her older owner, but he didn't want her, her mother or her father so we bought her and named her sadie but we are afraid that she may get a disease because of how skinny she was at such a young age. she is a sorrel quarter horse. she is not skinny now and is ALMOST 1 year but not quite. she seems strong enough to fight off a disease but i thought i would get some advise from other people before i thought the best of a question. thank you and i look foreward to hearing from you really soon.

they have immune systems. just use some probiotics or other supplements that help her. if she is utd with all of her shots i don't think that there is a need to worry. you should consult your vet and have her evaluated. he/she will recommend things to help Sadie along
