Really horses that don't like treats, apples, ect?

i have 2 horses buck-o a 5 year old bay dun with a stripe down his back, also he is 14 hands tall. comanche is a sorrel color (red, brown) 7 year old barrel racer, he is 17 hands tall

and well i used to love to give my old horse saddie treats and well my 2 other horses wont eat treats its so weird ( well they will eat thi plain lookingtreat that looks to me like a pig noss,it has the 2 holes in it) i never meet horses like this before and well they also wont eat apples carrots and most other treats

i dont realy care about the treats realy only about apples and carrots because there good for them!

why do you think they wont eat carrots and apples ( ive even opened up an apple to let them smell the sweet juices and they ran away!

Really horses that don't like treats, apples, ect?
maybe they just dont like them, just like people everybody has likes, %26amp; dislikes
Reply:some horses don't like treats like apples or carrots. I have one that only eats peppermints, and another that will only accept a handful of sweet feed as a treat. if you are determined to teach them to take apples or carrots, and your horses eat sweet feed, try slicing the apple and dipping it in the feed, that way they smell something they are familiar with and will taste it. or you can chop up bits and add them to thier daily feed, and then once they get a taste for them, they should take them willingly
